Fulham will sign Jazz Richards later today for around £500,000 after changing their minds over the Swansea defender.

The club had privately indicated there had been no movement on either side up to the last 24 hours, but things then shifted along at a rate of knots, and the right-back and Wales international is set to become the fourth close season signing behind Tom Cairney, Ben Pringle and Andy Longergan.

Aston Villa and other clubs were reportedly interested in the defender with five full caps for Wales, where Fulham boss Kit Symons was assistant to Chris Coleman until last month.

The connection allowed the 24-year-old to make 14 Championship appearances in white following his loan switch from Swans in January.
