DICKSON Etuhu has backed QPR to beat the drop ahead of Sunday's west London derby at Craven Cottage.

Neil Warnock's men were tipped for relegation before Tony Fernandes's takeover of the club.

However, the hoops go into the game in ninth spot – eight places above the Whites.

And Etuhu reckons Rangers will have no problems surviving.

He said: “They've made some very important, strong signings with Premier League experience. If they keep their key players fit I'm sure they'll be fine.”
