Fulham want out-of-contract Millwall keeper David Forde to offer competition to Marcus Bettinnelli next term.

Chances are Whites boss Kit Symons will move on out-of-favour Maarten Stekelenburg as quickly as he can, with Southampton linked to the World Cup Dutch international.

Gabor Kiraly is also expected to be released, and the short-term deal for Richard Lee at the back end of the season was just that - the ex-Bees keeper has retired.

No goal: Fulham's Hugo Rodallega (R) thinks he has beaten Forde, but the effort is disallowed

It leaves a keeper gap that 35-year-old Forde is expected to fill.

He made 291 appearances for the Lions that included 23 Republic of Ireland caps, and one was on the few saving graces in a doomed campaign.

Reports suggest Symons has already discussed a move with Forde, as Fulham rebuild a squad deemed able to cope with Championship rigours.
