Michael Turner has joined Fulham on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Canaries centre-back has featured in 24 matches this season, and made more than 400 appearances across a career that’s seen him at Brentford, Hull City and Sunderland.
But it bodes badly for one from Shaun Hutchinson, Nikolay Bodurov and Dan Burn.
The first two central defenders were run ragged by Bournemouth last week in the 5-1 home defeat, and Whites boss Kit Symons has seen fit to act ahead of the clash with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Turner was a key member of the Hull squad that won promotion from the Championship via the play-offs in 2008.
He has been assigned the number 18 shirt, while at Craven Cottage - the same as worn proudly by Aaron Hughes during his spell with the Whites.
Turner told the Whites website: "I’m very pleased to have the deal done. As soon as I learned of Fulham’s interest I wanted to come here straight away. I just want to come in and try and make a big influence on the team."
