Ryan Sessegnon scored one and made one as Fulham knocked Hull out of the FA Cup – and his team-mate believes the teenager will be as good as his mate at Real Madrid.

Stefan Johansen was also on the score sheet of a comprehensive 4-1 win and marvelled at the only Championship player born in the 21st century.

The former Celtic player sees a big comparison with 18-year-old Martin Ødegaard at Real – and the Norway international knows them both.

Talent: Martin Odegaard of Real Madrid

Johansen said: “I see no reason why Ryan can’t be like him.

“If he still can improve, it shows what his ability is.

“I hope he stays in Fulham, but it’s going to be quite hard to keep him. It’s 99 per cent sure he will be one of the top left-backs in the world.

“I played with Martin when he was 16 and still in the national team. They both have amazing calmness playing against top teams; they’re two amazing talents.”

Whites were on top from first to last, and 4-1 flattered hapless Hull.

Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli even got his name in the headlines when he denied Hull, not one, but two penalties in the space of a minute.

If not the penalties, Johansen saw the result from a distance.

“We played some excellent football. Confidence hasn’t been a problem but we’ve given away too many easy points.

“There are plenty of points left – and if we can get in top six, anything can happen after that.

“The penalty thing? It’s weird. Have I seen anything like it before? Maybe, on Fifa 2012,” he joked.
