Kevin McDonald has stated he has no desire to leave Fulham this summer but admits anything can happen as the Transfer Window deadline approaches.

The Scotsman had been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest earlier in the summer but no bid was forthcoming , with Fulham keen to hold onto their holding midfielder.

It's all gone quiet on that front and the 28-year-old has now started in four Championship games for the Cottagers as he, Tom Cairney and Stefan Johansen continue their midfield partnerships which took the league by storm in the latter part of last season.

With only two days remaining before the window shuts, teams will be starting to ramp up the pressure to get their men before the 11pm deadline, but McDonald insists he's happy and Fulham and can't see anything happening in regards to a move away from the Cottage.

When asked if anything may happen, he said: "I don't think so - you never know in football, anything can happen at the last minute but I don't think so.

"It's gone a little bit quiet at the moment and I can't imagine anything will happen if I'm honest with you, which is fair enough.

"I'm happy here and enjoy my football here and I have no desire to leave just now and I'm really enjoying myself at Fulham."
