A LICK of paint came between Fulham and three points against Wolves.

Nineteen-goal striker Bobby Zamora almost made it 20 for the season when his right-foot rocket beat Marcus Hahnemann, only to see his effort crash off the post as the game ended in a drab draw.

Neither side created any clear-cut chances in the first-half.

Damien Duff and Zoltan Gera had long-range efforts blocked for Fulham, while at the other end, Kevin Doyle dragged a shot wide of the left post.

The hosts improved after the break, Danny Murphy had an effort diverted for a corner, then Gera headed wide.

Duff missed a golden chance to break the deadlock on the hour mark. Gera sent him in the clear, but the Irishman tried to cut inside to his left foot, allowing George Elokobi to make a last-ditch tackle.

Zamora came closest to earning the points late on, but his 25-yard shot struck the right post.
