Fulham are preparing for life after Scott Parker by making a second £1.25 million bid for Kevin McDonald at Wolves.

The Scot, dubbed the ‘pass master’ at Molineux is reportedly wanted as a midfield dynamo, the type of player who fills any breach left by 34-year-old Parker in the final year of his Whites contract.

McDonald was Wolves player of the year – both players’ and supporters’ - in their League One title-winning campaign in 2014.

By September last season, he had become the first player to clock up 500 passes in English football ahead of all but one other man had reached 400.

Target: Kevin McDonald (L)

The 26-year-old also featured prominently in two out of three wins against Whites last term, the last as the Old Gold comfortably eased home 3-0 in February.
