Sascha Riether has refused to be drawn on his future and is concentrating his efforts on keeping Fulham in the Premier League.

The German defender has been a virtual ever-present for the Cottagers this season after signing permanently from Cologne in the summer following a successful loan spell.

Riether still has another 12 months to run on his deal in SW6, but has refused to give assurances about his future beyond the end of the season as Fulham fight for their lives at the foot of the table.

He said: "I don't think we should speak about the future, we have six games left and we believe we can stay in the league."

Felix Magath's side are five points adrift of safety with six games remaining to save themselves from the drop.
