FULHAM will be without the suspended Steve Sidwell for Sunday's trip to strugglers Newcastle United.
The midfielder begins a three-match ban after his appeal to overturn the red card he received against QPR last week was rejected.
Martin Jol is also without winger Ashkan Dejagah , who suffered an ankle injury in the 3-2 win over the Rs, while Mladen Petric and Mahamadou Diarra are also sidelined.
“Dejagah needs at least another week,” said the Fulham boss.
“His ankle is sprained so he won’t play. Mladen Petri? has got a problem with his left abductor so he won’t be involved and, of course, we’ve got this long-term injury with Mahamadou Diarra.
“We’ve got the suspension of Steve Sidwell and that’s quite a big blow for us because he was playing well.
“He was a leader in midfield and appeared to have a very good combination with Giorgos Karagounis, so we have to come up with another solution now.”
