FULHAM are closing in on the loan signing of wantaway QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt .
The mercurial Morocco has been frozen out at Loftus Road after being sent home from a pre-season training camp in Devon last month.
Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has finally lost patience with the 24-year-old, who has trained just twice with the club since returning from the summer break.
Fulham are lining up a season-long loan move for Taarabt, who joined Spurs while Martin Jol was in charge at White Hart Lane before his switch to Loftus Road in 2010.
The wing-wizard still has two years remaining on his deal in W12, but is expected to complete a move to Craven Cottage later this week.
