MARTIN Jol has given the green light for Bjorn Helge Riise to extend his loan at Portsmouth.
The Fulham winger has made two appearances since his switch to Fratton Park last month, but is due to return to Craven Cottage on November 7.
Riise is keen to stay on the south coast, and boss Jol says he would be willing to extend the deal.
He said: “For him it's very important that he will play. When we took him he was playing in the national team and one of the best players.
“He's been a bit unfortunate with injuries and players in his position who are better. I thought it was a good thing for him to go on loan and I'd be willing to extend it.”
