Slavisa Jokanovic has revealed that Ryan Fredericks missed Fulham's 2-2 draw with Preston as a result of a foot injury and hopes he will be available for the Bolton game.
The ever versatile Denis Odoi stepped into the void left by Fredericks and produced a decent display as he grabbed the late equaliser, even if he didn't provide the same attacking threat that the injured man does.
Odoi has found himself playing across the entire backline this season, having played his usual left back position as well as centre back when Tomas Kalas was suspended at Leeds and he may be called upon again at Villa Park if Fredericks doesn't recover in time.
Speaking after the game, Jokanovic said: "He has a foot problem and we expect him to be available soon, if not for for the next game then probably for when we play against Bolton at home."
