MARK Hughes has rubbished reports linking him with becoming the new Bayern Munich manager.
Speculation this week suggested the Fulham boss was on a three-man shortlist to replace Louis van Gaal.
Hughes, who still has another season to run on his deal at Craven Cottage , spent a stint on loan with the German giants as a player in the 1980s.
But the Welshman insists he's happy in SW6.
He said: "Sometimes when a job becomes vacant people look around to see if there are any connections in terms of past playing careers. There's no more in it than that.
"In the past I have said if the opportunity presents itself I would like to manage abroad, but it's not something I'm looking to do at the moment.
"Fulham's a great club going in the right direction. If we can invest more in the players next year as well then I think we can kick on.
"That's my focus at this time."
