Fulham boss Kit Symons has been nominated for the Championship manager of the month award.

Symons, who was appointed permanent manager last week, lifted the Cottagers out of the relegation zone after gaining 10 points in October.

The Whites recorded wins over Bolton, Norwich and Charlton and drew at Rotherham with their only defeat that month coming at Middlesbrough.

Symons is up against Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe and Huddersfield's Chris Powell for the accolade.
