Felix Magath reckons the continued presence of Kostas Mitroglou and Bryan Ruiz at Fulham is ‘unsettling’ – and hopes both wantaway players follow Maarten Stekelenburg out of the door as soon as possible.

The Dutch keeper departed for Monaco on loan for the rest of the season today, with Magath indicating it was one down, two to go when it came to getting rid of expensive misfits.

All three made it plain they want nothing to do with the Championship and trips to the likes of Huddersfield and Rotherham, with Magath hoping the fate of the other two World Cup players settled as quickly as possible.

He said: “It’s better they leave at once. At the moment it’s for us a little unsettling when we may want to lose one or two players and sign one or two players.”

The Whites manager had to suffer watching his side lose 2-1 at Ipswich today, but was satisfied his young side will come through.

"The referee did not have his best day, and our young players are not used to being tackled as they were today," Magath said.

"Until the first goal we were playing well, and had a chance to score.

"After then we were a little bit nervous and we lost our game plan. And the second goal came too early in the second half, but I am not worried because I think we are on the right way."
