Fulham head coach Slavisa Jokanovic expects star striker Ross McCormack to train with this club this week amidst rumours of an impending transfer to Norwich City.

McCormack watched the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday from the comfort of the Cottage, but has not appeared for the Whites since he was subbed off in the 3-0 win over Cork City on 9 July.

Although slightly vague, Jokanovic said: “I didn’t use him in these last few games - he has some physical problems. I expect he will be ready on Monday working with us.”

After chasing the frontman all summer, earlier this week, GetWestLondon reported that Norwich City manager Alex Neil had tabled a third bid ‘in excess of £10million’ for the Whites star, with Newcastle and Aston Villa also said to be keen.

But it seems that the striker – who has bagged 38 league goals over the past two seasons – that this summer’s transfer saga is yet to reach a conclusion and he may now be in contention for Fulham's Championship curtain-raiser against Newcastle this Friday.
