Tom Cairney is not for sale - not at any price says his Fulham boss.

Slavisa Jokanovic slapped a hands-off notice on his marvellous midfielder who ran Brentford ragged last night and then capped off a great performance with a late individual goal for a 2-0 win.

Cairney was recently sent £3 by a younger admirer for his endeavours in a white shirt this season. He cost £3.5 million when Fulham bought him from Blackburn in the summer of 2015.

Salute: Tom Cairney scores

He has more than two years to run on a four-year deal, but Whites moved up to ninth and just a win outside the play-off spots as a result of the away spree, and is worth £60m at least, if he factors in a successful push for the Premier League.

Joka laid down a statement of intent to any Premier League club sniffing around.

"I'm going to guarantee he's going to stay with us," the gaffer said. "He's a a very important player. I said many times he's a Premier League player.

"I'm sure we are not going to put him in the market."
