The new Combined Counties League season gets underway today, with four Hounslow sides lining up for their season's curtain-raisers.

New manager Dean Thomas will take charge of his first competitive game at Bedfont & Feltham as they take on Sheerwater at home.

The new look Yellows have had a mixed pre-season, the highlight of which was a home game against a Swindon Town XI, which they lost 3-2.

Another new manager taking on a fresh challenge is Gary Jenkins at Hanworth Villa, who have had a tough pre-season work out against mainly higher division teams, which culminated in a 5-1 loss to Hampton & Richmond Borough on Thursday night.

They kick off their Premier Division season at home to Guildford City tomorrow, before travelling to Westfield on Tuesday night.

The highlight of pre-season at Bedfont Sports, who have taken a former Trinidad & Tobago international on trial, was a 3-0 win over neighbours Bedfont & Feltham.

Mick Snowdon's mens' Premier Division campaign gets underway with two away games, at Badshot Lea tomorrow and Spelthorne Sports on Tuesday night.

It's also been an impressive pre-season for CB Hounslow United, featuring wins over Ashford Town and Bedfont Sports, and narrow defeats to Hillingdon Borough and North Greenford United – all higher division sides.

Their new Division One season begins away at Eversley & California, who were promoted to the Premier last season but then demoted again due to ground grading problems.
