Former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Karl Henry has joined Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

The 34-year-old was a free agent after leaving the Hoops at the end of last season following a fall-out with manager Ian Holloway last season.

He's signed a contract until the end of the season.

The midfielder, who previously had spells at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stoke City, confirmed the move on Twitter saying: "Very pleased to sign for Bolton and can't wait to get stuck in!".

Since leaving Loftus Road, Henry has been training with West Bromwich Albion, but will be delighted to show he still has plenty to offer at Championship level.
