Former QPR midfielder Karl Henry is training with Premier League side West Brom in a bid to build up his fitness, according to Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett.

The ex Stoke City and Wolves veteran is currently without a club after being released by the Hoops at the end of last season.

It's thought that his relationship with former-Potters boss Tony Pulis has opened the door for the 34-year-old, as he looks to build his fitness as he searches for his next club.

The midfielder made 118 appearances for QPR, scoring two goals in his three-year stay at Loftus Road, where his combative style made him a real favourite amongst the fans.

Henry was linked with a move to Barnsley earlier this summer, but with a move not materialising he'll be hoping to attract the interest of potential suitors in the coming weeks.
