Fulham fell to a heavy 8-2 defeat as they took on a Chelsea at Cobham this afternoon.

The Premier League Champions really showed the gulf in class as they ran riot over their West London neighbours.

Willian got the Blues off to the perfect start by scoring two goals in the space of three minutes to put Antonio Conte's men in the ascendency.

An own goal by Cesar Azpilicueta gave Fulham an early route back into the match, before Michy Batshuayi scored twice to make it 4-1 on 34 minutes.

The game was put beyond doubt when Brazilian star Willian completed his hat-trick two minutes before the break.

Tasked with making the scoreline as respectable as possible, Stefan Johansen scored from the spot to make it 5-2, before former QPR man Loic Remy swiftly restored the Blues' lead.

The result was wrapped up by an Azpilicueta penalty, and a second Remy strike to secure an emphatic victory for the Premier League Champions.
