With the news that Wayne Rooney has left Manchester United to join boyhood club Everton, we decided to have a look down memory lane to see which former Brentford players you'd like to see back at Griffin Park.
Having asked the fans on Twitter, here is the list of five former Bees who would be welcome back on West London.
The first name on the list. Andre Gray was a revelation when he first arrived at Brentford, leading the line as the Bees reached the play-offs. A big-money move to Burnley came next, and it looks like he could be on the move again this summer, however West London would love to see a man of Gray's ability starting up top once again.
One of the most naturally gifted players to grace Griffin Park. Spent one season on loan at Brentford before returning to Tottenham Hotspur. Now playing for Norwich City in the Championship, the Bees would love to help Pritchard find the form which he displayed during his season at the club.
The midfielder made 100 appearances for Brentford during his two spells at the club before moving onto Wigan Athletic. Now at Middlesbrough, the talented midfielder has showcased his real ability, being a regular for Boro in the Premier League. Forshaw is likely to play a huge part in helping the Teessiders in their quest to return to the Premier League this term.
The spritely wing-back enjoyed an excellent season at Griffin Park after signing a three-year deal upon leaving Leyton Orient. Now with Hull City, Odubajo will be looking to get a full season under his belt after missing a large chunk of the Premier League campaign with a knee injury.
The Swansea City star joined Brentford after leaving the Reading academy in 2010. After a series of loan spells, Mawson joined Barnsley where he impressed and earned a move to the Swans. After an outstanding debut season in Wales. the young defender has been tipped with a move to one of the Premier League big boys, and appears set for a career at the highest level.
