Following the EFL's list of released players from each club in the Champioship, we take a look at five players released by Norwich City who could benefit QPR next season.

Sebastien Bassong

The experienced defender is a man-mountain is defence and has experience at the highest level having played for Newcastle United, Tottenham, Watford and most recently Norwich. At 30 years of age, Bassong could be the experience boost Ian Holloway is looking for to sure up his defensive line.

Ryan Bennett

The versatile defender looks set to become a free agent this summer and is likely to attract a number of admirers in the Championship. Equally at home at right-back and centre-back, the 27-year-old played 36 games for the Canaries last season proving that he would be a top signing at Loftus Road.

Youssouf Mulumbu

The DR Congo international is an established name in the English game. The 30-year-old played 211 times for West Brom before moving to Norwich and could be exactly the kind of midfielder enforcer the club need to replace Karl Henry next season.

John Ruddy

An experienced England international. A move which wouldn't make sense unless Alex Smithies was sold on to a Premier League side, but a ready made number one.

Michael Turner

Lewisham-born Turner is a player who may well be tempted with a move to London. Despite only making a handful of cup appearances this season, the former Hull and Sunderland defender still has plenty to offer despite his advancing years.
