GARY O’Neil is set to be QPR’s fifth signing of the new season – with the former West Ham player expected to wrap up a one-year deal today.
O’Neil turned down a new contract at Upton Park in order to drop a division, but at the same time delight former Hammers’ boss Harry Redknapp.
The Rs manager said: “I think we’ll be able to do a deal with Gary today.
“I had him at Portsmouth, and he’s a good lad. He can play a few positions and he knows what he’s doing, and he’s also a good person.”
