Brentford, Fulham and QPR fans will have to wait a little longer to play as their side in the highly anticipated FIFA 18 release.
EA Sports who make the popular football computer game have released details of the trailer for the game, which unfortunately will not feature either the Bees, Whites or Rs, meaning west London supporters will have to wait until the official game release later this month before playing as their team. You could play, and thrash, Chelsea if you so wish.
As usual, the demo will feature just ten sides to play with in friendly matches to get to grips with the new features of this year’s additions.
Even if you can’t play as Brentford, Fulham or QPR though, no doubt if you’re as excited as this reporter for FIFA 18’s full release then you will be at least giving the demo a try.
Here’s everything you need to know.
When the is the FIFA 18 demo out?
Does it cost to play the demo?
No, you can download the demo for free on the day of the release, or thereafter.
How and where can I download it?
The demo will be on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Nintendo Switch - and will be available to download from each console’s respective stores.
How long will it take to download?
That will depend on your internet speed.
The demo is usually between 7-8GB in size so it is a fairly big size. It’s worth baring in mind that servers will likely be busy on the day of release too. It may be worth to leave your console running while you go to work or sleep.
What’s in the demo?
As with all FIFA demos you will likely be able to play a 90 minute game with a small pool of teams. This year’s sides are: Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, PSG, LA Galaxy and Toronto FC.
The Journey story mode returns to FIFA 18 after its debut last season and last year’s demo also let you play Alex Hunter’s first game. It’s likely EA will offer a similar experience for its sequel.
When is the full game out?
Where can it be pre-ordered from?
All major gaming retailers/supermarkets will offer the chance to pre-order the popular game.
The game will cost £49.99.
