Cesc Fabregas will give everything he has to win the Champions League with Chelsea; the glaring omission on his glittering CV.

The Spaniard has won the FA Cup, Community Shield and League Cup in England; the first two with Arsenal and the latter with Chelsea.

In Barcelona, he won La Liga, Copa del Rey, Supercopa de Espana, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup and with the Spanish national team he won EURO 2008 and EURO 2012 as well as the World Cup in 2010.

Although Fabregas is yet to win the Premier League it is almost certain he will add that title this year, leaving the Champions League as the only trophy he hasn't won with the Blues ending his hopes with Barcelona in 2012 on their way to lifting the trophy.

Trophy boys: Chelsea's Didier Drogba (L), David Luiz (C) and Salomon Kalou celebrate with the trophy after winning the 2012 UEFA Champions League

He said: “Well, physically and mentally, I will give everything for Chelsea to win it. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a competition that is special to me.

“Ask a player what he wants to win in his career, he'll say the World Cup and the Champions League. It's not an extra pressure, but I want to win it.

I will give my best and hopefully we will go through into the next round. We'll go game by game.

“Sometimes the best team doesn't win. You have to be fortunate with the draw or your performance on the day.

“We have to take it to the next level. Tomorrow we want to go through. We have to make it happen.”
