AKOS Buzsaky is set to be handed a new contract at QPR.

The Hungarian midfielder played a vital role as Rangers secured Premier League survival after a nail-biting end to the season.

Buzsaky made 21 appearances for the R's, scoring two goals, but his current deal is due to expire next month.

However, the 30-year-old has been told he is still part of Mark Hughes' plans for next campaign, and is poised to be given an extension to stay at Loftus Road .
