QPR youngster Josh Bowler is in line for a tough week after joining the first team squad on the plane to Portugal after a turbulent few weeks.

The 18-year-old has been the subject of two rejected bids from Premier League side Everton, who if reports are to be believed, appear to be edging closer to a move.

There has also been talk of the youngster rejecting a new contract at the club and handing in a transfer request, although this has not been confirmed.

The attention surrounding his future is bound to have unsettled the youngster, but the message must remain clear, that he is a QPR player until told otherwise.

QPR have come back to training early to prepare for what is likely to be a challenging season, and as it stands Bowler looks like he could be in line to play a big role this year.

With this in mind it's vital that the winger gets his head down and works to his full potential, because unless anything changes he will be wearing the famous West London Hoops come the first game of the season.
