PD MARDEN DIVISION THREE CUP - SECOND ROUND AMU...........1 KENSINGTON DRAGONS.............7

DRAGONS set the tone for an emphatic win when Nick Hoffman lobbed the AMU keeper from 40 yards in the first minute of the match on Saturday, writes Juliet Wilkinson.

Although AMU equalised, it was one-way traffic from there on out.

Lamelle Williams completed a hat-trick either side of half-time and then added a fourth on 64 minutes.

Jonathan Laycock also got on the Dragons' scoresheet, and with captain Luke O'Donoghue and Mike Woolacott running the midfield, there was little the opposition could do to stem the goal tide.

O'Donoghue himself added the icing on the cake late on to also maintain Kensington's unbeaten record this season.

A DARING move nearly paid off when Miles Spooner moved up from defence and immediately pulled a goal back after Dragons had gone 3-0 down.

Douglas St Louis also netted in a second-half revival, and a fine performance from captain Karris Graham-Moore kept Dragons in it. But in the end, the elusive equaliser proved too hard to find.

Sadly, there was a defeat for Kensington's U17s, who lost 3-2 to Ruislip Rangers.

The U15s fared no better, going down to 5-3 to Bessingby Park, although the real red faces were among the Kenny Dragons U11s, who lost 9-2 to Greenford Celtic B.

THEY TRAIN together as mates - but there was no love lost in this inter-club derby on Sunday.

The FCK West team got their act together after their pals on the other side dominated the first-half.

Michael Burcham netted for North, but team-mate Joseph Morgan's careless tackle in the box allowed Gavin Mason to level from the spot.

Arian Shasawaru nearly restored North's lead courtesy of a pass from Chris Clark, but it was Tom Cutts who appropriately stabbed home to give West the lead for the first time.

Simon Yu bagged the killer goal that settled the tie.

FCK'S U15s secured a comfortable 4-0 away win at Fulham side FC Brunswick on Sunday.
