It may only have been an 11-minute cameo, but it was enough to get the Wycombe Wanderers fans excited.

After all, they had just watched 80 prior minutes of a drab, goalless draw away at Newport County's Rodney Parade.

It is a 250-mile round trip for the Chairboys' fans, but as well as a point away, they also went home with a smile on their faces, thanks mainly to Queens Park Rangers youngster Ebere Eze.

Eze, who has only played 18 minutes of first team football for the Hoops - an EFL Cup clash with Blackburn Rovers last season, was sent on loan to the League Two side this summer and was handed his first action for Wanderers at Rodney Parade on Saturday.

The 19-year-old was at the heart of a move late on where Wycombe had an effort cleared off the line and his cameo had the fans eager to see more.

Here's some of the reaction to his 11 minute spell on Twitter.
