INJURED striker Ian Hodges had to sit out of Hampton & Richmond Borough's goalless draw with Bath City on Tuesday night - after tripping over while out walking his dog!

The game was Hampton's second stalemate in four days following their 2-2 draw at Weston-Super-Mare on Saturday.

Lawrence Yaku gave the Beavers a 22nd-minute lead, steering Elliott Godfrey's shot home.

Alan Inns then cleared twice inside his own six-yard box before surging forward to lay the ball back to Godfrey, whose cross was flicked on by Hodges for Stuart Lake to finish at the far post. But the hosts pulled one back four minutes after the interval, then levelled a minute from time.
