CLINT Hill has signed a new one-year deal at QPR.

The veteran defender earned the player of the year prize after an impressive second-half of the season at Loftus Road as Rangers escaped the drop on a nail-biting final day of the campaign.

Former QPR boss Neil Warnock was keen to bring the 33-year-old to Championship club Leeds United.

But Hill has snubbed the chance to hook up with his old manager and agreed to remain in W12 for another 12 months, as exclusively revealed by the  Chronicle two weeks ago.
