Defender commits future to Fulham

PHILIPPE Senderos has agreed a one-year contract extension that ties him to Fulham until 2014.

The giant Swiss defender has made 12 appearances for the Whites this season, but his deal was due to expire in the summer.

The Chronicle revealed last night that Senderos was on the verge of penning fresh terms, and boss Martin Jol has today handed the 28-year-old another 12 months in SW6.

Senderos has featured 43 times for Fulham since his switch from Arsenal in 2010.
