Brentford have been given an injury boost ahead of Saturday's home-opener against Ipswich.

Maxime Colin is definitely available, while Andreas Bjelland and Yoann Barbet might have the game coming too quickly for them. Alan McCormack and Alan Judge are definitely out.

And it came as a relief to Brentford head coach Dean Smith after a bruising encounter at Exeter on Tuesday night.

“There was a lot of ice going around on the coach on Tuesday night so I was worried I'd have to register Big Bob the kitman but we've got bodies on the training ground,” Smith said.

“Maxime Colin trained today. Andreas Bjelland trained today. Josh McEachran is back in training. Emmanuel Ledesma got a dead leg and Ryan Woods got a dead leg but they're ones to run off and they'll be in full training on Friday.

“Alan McCormack is bit sore and we're waiting to find the diagnosis of that. It looks like a heel injury. Him and Judgey are the only two out.”
