Dean Smith has not had any discussions about who Brentford's penalty taker will be over the international break.
The Bees have missed half of their spot kicks, with Ollie Watkins blazing his effort over the bar against Leeds two weeks ago the latest to miss, since winning promotion to the Championship and most fans now watch them with trepidation.
But Smith hasn't had official penalty practice but revealed that his squad have been putting time in after training on taking efforts from 12 yards.
“We haven't discussed penalties to be honest since the Leeds game. He put that one over. He was dodging a few objects as well at the time,” he said.
“Players who want to be penalty takers practice all the time. Replicating match conditions is difficult.”
Watkins did, however, score his penalty against Birmingham at the start of the month. Yoann Barbet took Brentford's other penalty this season, against Norwich in the League Cup, and skied it into the Brook Road stand.
