ON-SONG David Luiz is refusing to fall out of tune with his team-mates by revealing what music he made on his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Luiz, who scored the opening goal in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Manchester City, had to undergo the same initiation rite every player faces on signing for the Blues: bellowing out a song in front of the whole dressing room.
But the Brazilian insisted he could not tell anyone what he had sung, asserting: "It is a secret – it is our secret. But I have sung the song and it was OK."
Luiz is still learning English, and spoke to reporters in Portuguese – translated by team-mate Paulo Ferreira .
Asked if Fernando Torres , who joined Chelsea at the same time as Luiz, had sung his song, Ferreira said: "It is tradition, even I did it when I arrived!"
