Brentford will find out tonight whether their planning application for a new stadium at Lionel Road has been given the green light.
The project was given a boost last week when Hounslow Council planning officers recommended approving the proposed 20,000-seater stadium and residential apartments.
Bees supporters have written to the council in support of the plans, but there have been objections from local residents and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.
The local authority’s planning committee will either give the scheme the thumbs up or down at a meeting this evening at the Civic Centre in Lampton Road, Hounslow.
Brentford fans are urged to show their support, with doors opening at 6.30pm.
