Conor Washington scored twice as Queens Park Rangers took to the field for the first time since the season ended in April.

The Hoops beat National League side Bromley 4-0 in a behind closed doors friendly at Harlington as manager Ian Holloway fielded different teams in each half.

Washington gave Rangers the lead when he pounced on a loose back pass and slotted home.

Matt Smith hit the crossbar with a header before he doubled the lead from a Luke Freeman corner. And it was three before half-time when Washington bagged his second, volleying in from Smith's knockdown.

A new XI came out for the second half and youngster Ebere Eze shot just wide after racing through.

QPR had chances to increase their lead and Eze went close once more before they did make it four through Idrissa Sylla.

QPR (first half): Smithies; Furlong, Perch, Lynch, Robinson; Cousins, Manning; Bowler, Washington, Freeman; Smith.

QPR (second half): Ingram; Kakay, Onuoha, Hamalainen, Bidwell; Hall, Goss; Mackie, Ngbakoto, Eze (Grego-Cox); Sylla.
