Harry Redknapp felt aggrieved at the penalty which cost QPR a point in the west London derby at Chelsea.

But the Hoops boss stopped short of claiming Eden Hazard was responsible for a dive in winning the spot kick that saw the Belgian's side edge home 2-1 .

The moment that settled the points came in the 75th minute when Rs striker Eduardo Vargas was all but shoulder to shoulder with Eden Hazard on the edge of the box and went down under the challenge.

Heads up: Harry Redknapp

No prizes for guessing the two different reactions from opposite ends of the ground and the two dugouts.

Redknapp said: 'I thought it was a harsh decision, yeah. It was two little men shoulder to shoulder so I felt it was a soft penalty really. It was a shoulder charge, I don't think he dived (Hazard) though.'

After dismal away showings at Tottenham and Manchester United earlier, Redknapp was proud of his team's efforts despite taking nothing from the game.

He added: 'We've had a couple of away games where we didn't do well but our home performances haven't been a problem. I thought we did well today against the best team in the country.

'I couldn't be more pleased in the way we worked as it's difficult to come here as they have so much talent and quality.

'I felt we deserved something from the game because of how hard we worked. We came here and didn't lie down and looked dangerous a few times on the break.

'It was a good away performance but unfortunately we didn't get our rewards in the end. We went for it with half an hour to go to try and get a goal back, which we did, but it left ourselves very open at the back as a result.

'I couldn't be more proud of the team today though.'

Redknapp's side face fellow title challengers Manchester City next weekend as they look for second successive home win and climb out of the relegation zone.
