Chelsea midfielder Ramires has returned home after being rushed to hospital with Kidney problems.

The Brazilian international was due to play in yesterday’s win over Crystal Palace but was taken ill before the match.

Chelsea went on to beat the Eagles and confirmed their status as Premier League champions at Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho told reporters of the Samba star’s illness in his post-match press conference but Ramires today took to Instagram to reassure fans he will be fine.

“I was very sick yesterday minutes before the match because of a renal complication, but I'm well and home with my family,” the Blues ace said.

“Thank God it was nothing serious and I will be fully recovered in a few weeks. Thank you to all that sent me messages and were with me.

“I would like to thank Chelsea's medical team for the exceptional job.

“I was sad not to be part of the party on the pitch, but very pleased with the title, the only English title I had left to concur [sic]. Congratulations Chelsea!”

Ramires also posted a picture of himself holding a champions scarf on the social networking application.
