The match...

Eden Hazard’s latest classic saw Chelsea take another huge stride towards the Premiership title at the expense of challengers Arsenal.

The Belgian, so disappointed to have been taken off by the time Diego Costa’s penalty was missed against Liverpool on Tuesday, left an indelible mark on this contest with a magical goal on 53 minutes.

Track: Alexis Sanchez has Cesar Azpilicueta on his tail

He shrugged off Francis Coquelin’s foul before leaving first Laurent Koscieny and then Shkodran Mustafi floundering as he weaved through to score the goal which could come to be seen as the title clincher.

His stunner added to Marcos Alonso’s 13th minute header, the wingback heading in after Costa’s effort had crashed off the bar.

Cesc Fabregas added a third in a late cameo before Olivier Giroud’s stoppage time header which barely registered as a consolation.
