Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has faith in his youngsters as the Blues breezed to an emphatic victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek opened the scoring before Alexandre's first half penalty doubled Chelsea's lead on the stroke of half time.

Pedro added a double after the break to complete a comfortable win for Hiddink's men, before Alan Hutton saw his marching orders for the hosts.

And Hiddink was delighted with the impact of his younger players, including the impressive Loftus-Cheek .

He said: "It's good to see guys like Loftus-Cheek, Clarke-Salter and Miazga coming in. We cannot win anything so it's a little easier.

"I like to bring in youngsters, we have the rest of the season.

"It's important they feel the Premier League demands."

The former Netherlands boss was also impressed with the way his side controlled the game from start to end at Villa Park.

The Villains hardly mustered a shot on goal as the Midlands side seemed condemned to the drop.

But Hiddink was proud of the way his charges nullified any threat from Eric Black's charges.

He added: "I think we started very well and killed the game off, defending well, pressing high and trying to get the goals.

"It's not that important for me [to be unbeaten], and with bringing young kids the risk of failure is a little higher."
