PETR Cech celebrated his 100 th clean sheet for Chelsea in last night's win over Bolton – then admitted he expected it last week.

Nicolas Anelka's first-half header helped the Blues tighten their grip on top spot with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Owen Coyle's side.

But it was in last week's vital victory against Manchester United that the Czech keeper planned to reach the milestone.

He admitted: "I was sure that I was going to have one at Old Trafford last week because that would have been a great clean sheet - the 100 th one in the head-to-head clash.

"But it wasn't to be. There was a goal, it was a handball, but we won it – this is the main point.

"I am pleased especially as the clean sheet helped us to get three points. We won, I got my 100 th clean sheet finally, and I am happy with that.

"When I came here I wanted to make my name here in the best league in the world and at such a special club.

"And we've been winning things, and I've truly enjoyed my time at Chelsea. This is another milestone I am proud of."
