Chelsea's first team have played in more games than other Premier League players.

Players to have made at least one appearance under Jose Mourinho this season have played an average of 24.5 games each in all competitions - more than any other side in the league.

Liverpool's players have played the next most at an average of 23.7 each, followed by Tottenham (22.3), Manchester City (21.9) and Arsenal (18.9).

Manchester United's players are the most rested and have played an average of just 13.1 games each this season.

Of course, Louis van Gaal's side haven't been in Europe this season, and as a result have played fewer games, with Chelsea playing nine more than them, and Manchester City playing 10 more.

However, Jose Mourinho's players have still played a higher percentage of their club's games than almost any other Premier League side.

The average Chelsea player has featured in 56 per cent of their team's matches this season - the joint highest proportion alongside Burnley.

Manchester City's players have played in 52% of their club's matches, while Liverpool players have played in 50% of theirs.

By contrast Manchester United's players have played in an average of just 37% of their club's games, and Arsenal have seen their players feature in an average of 42% of the club's fixtures.

This is down to the fact that Van Gaal and Arsene Wenger have used two of the highest numbers of different players this season.

As many as 37 different footballers have taken to the field for Manchester United this season - the highest of any Premier League side. They're followed by Crystal Palace (35), Arsenal (33), Everton (32), Leicester (31) and QPR (also 31),

Chelsea have fielded just 25 different players this season - the second lowest number in the league after Burnley (24). Manchester City have sent out 27 different players, as have Liverpool.
