Chelsea fans are concerned that Radamel Falcao will be another Fernando Torres.
The Blues confirmed they had completed a one-year loan deal for the Monaco forward, who endured a torrid year at Manchester United.
The Colombian was one of Europe's most feared strikers just three years ago and scored a hat-trick against Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup.
But an anterior cruciate ligament injury set him back before his trials at Old Trafford last season and fans are worried whether Falcao will have the ability to hit those heights again, much like Fernando Torres.
The signing also appears to have put a block on the likes of Patrick Bamford and Dominic Solanke breaking through at Stamford Bridge, which has upset those who want to see an academy player flourish.
Others, meanwhile, are taking the 'Jose knows best' view given his excellent record in the transfer market.
There are those who are taking the more pragmatic view, given that it appears to be a small outlay for one season and the hope that Falcao is over his injury and is an upgrade on a past-it Didier Drogba.
