CHELSEA are Wembley-bound yet again after a 2-0 win over Stoke saw them into the FA Cup semi finals.

Stoke had the best of the chances in the first 20 minutes, but Chelsea started to take the edge as the half elapsed.

It was on 35 minutes when a melee in the Stoke box saw the loose ball laid off to Frank Lampard on the right hand of the 'D', and he took advantage in just the way he loves.

The rifling shot, which was so hard it could have broken the net, was Lampard's 146 th goal for the Blues.

The atmosphere at Stamford Bridge was true to the cup tie billing, with the home fans chanting for Joe Cole's signature on a contract, and the visitors making fun of the Chelsea captain's alleged peccadilloes.

After the break Chelsea again built the pressure well, with close shaves involving Lampard and Anelka.

The second goal came on 67 minutes, when John Terry's header evaded Andy Wilkinson's lone defensive presence to send the fans crazy. Terry responded by running to them, and pointing at his armband.
