CHELSEA defender Cesar Azpilicueta insists the Blues can cope with the fixture pile-up facing them over the next two months.

Rafa Benitez's boys could play a staggering 19 games in 66 days if they reach the Europa League and FA Cup finals, while they are still fighting for a top-four finish as they try and secure Champions League qualification for next season.

But Spanish full-back Azpilicueta says Chelsea can manage the hectic schedule.

He said: “We are playing a lot of games – this is the longest season in the history of the club – but physically it is possible and we have the capacity to do it.

“We want to win trophies. We have three objectives and the next one is to carry on in the Europa League.”
