ANDRE Villas-Boas has played down Frank Lampard's strop after the Chelsea midfielder reacted angrily to being substituted in Saturday's win at Newcastle.

The England star missed a penalty and was dragged after an hour in the 3-0 win at St James' Park.

But the Blues boss insists he's got no problems with the player.

He said: "Frank is a top professional and every player wants to spend more time on the pitch.

"But the manager decides things for the team. The manager makes the decision."
