Chelsea have no fresh injury worries for their trip to Southampton on Sunday.

Kurt Zouma stepped up his recovery from his anterior cruciate ligament injury by playing for the U23 team against Aldershot, while Cesc Fabregas is still absent after a thigh injury.

Branislav Ivanovic is, though, available for selection after suffering a dislocated shoulder.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said: “The situation for injured player is the same (as West Ham) but Fabregas is not available. Ivanovic has fully recovered.

“Compared to the last games, I think there is nothing new. We have all the players available. I have to take the best decision for the starting XI.”

Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways after crashing out of the EFL Cup at West Ham on Wednesday.

Conte has looked back at the game and has found positives from it as well as things to work on.

He added: “I watched the video of the game against West Ham. I think we played a good game with a good intensity against a tough team.

“West Ham played with the same players as they do in the league. We started very well and then conceded a goal and changed the situation. I would prefer to stay in the game.

“I didn't want to concede the second goal. I saw a good reaction from my players and a good spirit.

“I think we had different chances to score the goal – also a penalty. We scored at the end but I saw positive things and things we can improve on.”

Chelsea are investigating the crowd trouble that marred the 2-1 defeat and Conte was coy when it came to discussing the incident.

He explained: “What happened is never good and it's possible to talk and to ask why. I always spoke and always admire the atmosphere in the English league and it's fantastic. It's a pity. We prefer the situation didn't happen.”
